YOUR REGIONAL AMBASSADORS

ABBY Strong
HEAD AMBASSADOR OF EPNA
WAIKATO/BAY OF PLENTY
Abby is a REPs Registered Personal Trainer and Studio of the year winner (Studio Glow) at the 2018 ExerciseNZ Awards.
Abby is very enthusiastic about being an Ambassador for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty EPNA to help support brand-new exercise professionals and welcome them into a friendly, encouraging community. She aims to build a strong following and an environment that is exciting to experience and feel part of, allowing a warm and friendly hub of learning and connecting.

GARY SZABO
TARANAKI
Gary is a REPs registered Personal Trainer and runs a small PT Studio called Boot It Taranaki.
His gym “the hub” is home to high-intensity circuits, mums and bubs, kettlebells, kids after school/holiday programs, and the list goes on.
He is a EPNA Ambassador because he is truly passionate about getting regular people off their couches and getting them fitter than they ever imagined. He believes if exercise professionals all work together, we can make a huge difference in the shape of NZ.

TASH COLUMBUS
DUNEDIN
In 2015 Tash was running four bootcamps, with around 60 members as well as 40+ PT clients per week – however felt limited by space, time and facilities. That’s when she decided to go out on her own.
In 2017 she opened her own women’s group fitness studio – #TeamTashTraining studio – which won the Studio facility of the year and Supreme facility of the year awards at the 2022 ExerciseNZ Awards.
Ehara tāku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.
“My strength is not as an individual, but as a collective.”
Tash truly believes this, and as a EPNA ambassador, she believes that together we can achieve so much.

ANDREW WILSON
CHRISTCHURCH
Andrew began his career in the Health and Fitness industry in 2009, having studied a qualification in Personal Training, and becoming accredited in strength and conditioning.
It hasn’t been a walk in the park. Anyone running their own business will attest to the stresses of managing multiple administrative components – marketing, taxes, time management, professional development, not to mention communication with 50+ individuals with different levels of requirements and deadlines.
Andrew is dedicated to the EPNA in helping Exercise Professionals learn, grow and find support in the network that we can create, and he hopes that together with this growth we can contribute health and wellness and a sense of community to our surroundings.

KIRSTYN CAMPBELL
AUCKLAND
Kirstyn is a REPs Registered Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor, Educator, and ExerciseNZ awards finalist in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Kirstyn is very excited about becoming an Ambassador for EPNA to continue to give back to an industry that can feel isolated. She aims to grow awareness of the amazing support and connection that is available.
Hop on to the EPNA Auckland Hub and welcome Kirstyn as one of the newest Ambassadors on the New Zealand Council.

DANIELLE PAKI
HAWKES BAY

FIONA MUNRO
WELLINGTON

What she’s found in her career is a renewed vigour for life, hope, a sense of community, a sense of pride in achieving things that she didn’t think were possible, and strength both physically and mentally.
Fiona is excited to be an Ambassador with EPNA, to meet other Exercise Professionals to help with the growth and development of the industry.
